Fundraising 2024
Each year, the Margaret Stokes IODE raises funds to provide education awards to LCCVI and local elementary schools, community projects, and assistance to local Women’s Shelters and Christmas for Everyone, cadets, youth sponsorships in baseball, soccer, hockey, figure skating, cubs and brownies. Money is sent to the municipal, provincial, and federal levels to assist in focused projects such as “Snack Pack for the North and Labrador”, “Canadian Disaster Fund”, Labrabook, and the Canadian War Vets.

Deep dish 10" apple pies - We are making pies again this year at the same price as last year. $12.00 for a large deep filled delicious pie. Pies will be available on Wednesday and Thursday, October 3rd and 4th and October 9th and 10th. Pick up times will be 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Arena. To order call Angela at 519-344-7896.
Hauntings and Historical Tour- Visit 6 local establishments and hear the story of the Hauntings. Perhaps you may even experience it. The tours will be October 25th and 26th from 2:00 pm to 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $20 and available from Petrolia Home Hardware, Petrolia Municipal Office, Sitek and Company, Leisure Lane, Olde Post Office and Windover's Nurseries. Sorry, no children under 12 yrs.
IODE Spring Plants- Thank you for your support. Marigolds, Petunias, Boston ferns, Fuchsia plants and Geraniums, mixed hanging baskets and larger planters are also available. Gift certificates for future projects are also available .
Butter Tarts- Thank you for your support during our Easter sales, at the Optimist Tart Festival and the Farmer's Market Grand Opening 2024.

Types available are plain, nuts only, raisins only, or both nuts and raisins. Your choice or kind: plain syrup, raisins, nuts, or raisins and nuts.
Proceeds from the butter tart sales provide over $3000 for IODE Education Awards at L.C.C.V.I., our local elementary schools and community support.

IODE 50/50 Ticket Sales at the Saturday Petrolia Market: Proceeds are given to a local school's nutritious snack program.
