Fundraising 2025
Each year, the Margaret Stokes IODE raises funds to provide education awards to LCCVI and local elementary schools, community projects, and assistance to local Women’s Shelters and Christmas for Everyone, cadets, youth sponsorships in baseball, soccer, hockey, figure skating, cubs and brownies. Money is sent to the municipal, provincial, and federal levels to assist in focused projects such as “Snack Pack for the North and Labrador”, “Canadian Disaster Fund”, Labrabook, and the Canadian War Vets.

Butter Tarts- Our next date for tarts will be at the Petrolia Christmas Market on December 6th No pre-orders for this date.
Butter tarts were available for pre-order on April 8, 9, 10 and 15, 16, 17th, 2025. Cost $15/dozen. Your choice or kind: plain syrup, raisins, nuts, or raisins and nuts. Order from your favourite IODE member. Proceeds from the butter tart sales provide over $3000 for IODE Education Awards at L.C.C.V.I., our local elementary schools and community support.

Deep dish 10" apple pies - Thank you for your support. We were sold-out. Pies are pre-ordered and available on October 1st, 2nd, 8th and 9th. $15.00 Please order early to avoid disappointed.
Pick-up at the Greenwood Arena 9:00am - 11:00 am on the assigned date.
IODE 50/50 Ticket Sales at the Saturday Petrolia Market: Proceeds are given to a local school's nutritious snack program.

Quilt Raffle Tickets: Please see members at the Petrolia Fair and Markets. Draw date is December 18th.
IODE Spring Plants- Thank you for your support. Marigolds, Petunias, Boston ferns, Fuchsia plants and Geraniums, mixed hanging baskets and larger planters are also available. Gift certificates for future projects are also available .
Hauntings and Historical Tour, 2024- Thank you for your support. Participants visited six local establishments and hear the story of the Hauntings. The tours were October 25th and 26th from 2:00 pm to 7:00 p.m. Tickets $20.
